Released by in Spain by a company called Star Toys the generic "Indiana Jones" toyline is only multiple item Indiana Jones toyline to be produced outside of North America. This line is often thought to be the toyline for "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", however, it was released in Spain in 1987 which was two years before "Last Crusade" opened in theatres. This line was designed to be just a generic toyline which did not really associate itself with any one movie, in fact, the line is simply called "Indiana Jones". The design and themes, however, are taken mostly from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and not really from "Raiders of the Lost Ark". The fact that Rats are included with one of the action figures is in pure coincidence with the sequence in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".

This line contained the release of a seven Indiana Jones action figures on cards and six live-action accessory sets. The action figures are all identical in sculpt and came with a hat but only two of them were released with a shirt for Indy. All the action figures came with different pack-in accessories making each slightly different. The accessories included rats, a snake, an alligator, a bag, a compass, a watch and a tan shirt. The second part of the line was three small accessory sets and three large accessory sets. The large accessory sets were identical to the small sets but included a large back-pack as well. The live-action accessory sets were not accessories for the action figures but were items which kids could use on their own Indiana Jones adventures such as binoculars, compass, watch, waist pouch, camera, back pack and walkie-talkies. Ironically though Indiana Jones never used any of these though he is shown in the graphics for the sets using them.

The line is often considered to not be a licensed but more in the realm of a bootleg because if the generic nature of the toyline. It is not clear whether or not Star Toys legally had the license to produce under the Indiana Jones franchise. Whether they did or not the toyline was produced very inexpensively and therefore the action figures are commonly found with loosening bubble and are often cracked and yellowed. The cardbacks are also very thin and damage very easily. As a result, when one can even succeed in the difficulty of locating these in general it is near impossible to find these toys in great condition.
